How do i properly tighten AXE ASA?

Just picked up a used axe for a supper nice price. The seller notified me that there is an air leak comming from between the lower transfer tube and the asa.
I came home today and aired the marker up, and it leaks in the grip just like the owner described.
Before I start messing with the marker and take off the asa and the tube.
What is the correct way of installing/adjusting the asa?
Also I would like to know is what could cause the leak in that spot.

The leak is either because the bottom air transfer tube is not tightened down enough or the o-ring between the tube and ASA is damaged.
