Axe air transfer tube question

I think it's that little plastic thing in the spare parts am I correct?

Now for the real question...
I put it in but I might have placed it wrong cause it blew into the back if my bolt ...

I took it out and shot the gun and didn't notice much of a difference besides a lol more kick.

Is it needed to have that? And what do I gain or lose by not having it in there...

Thats the air restrictor. The air transfer tube are in the grip area and connects your asa/reg to transfer plate. It needs to be in there.

Yes the check valve, as it is known in the manual, is required and very important. Without it your marker is very likely to break paint and have very bad efficency.

Check the Axe user manual on paintbalsolutions.com for placement. There is a picture of where it goes.
