Shooting sparks out of my barrel!
When the Dye Titanium Boomsticks first came out, people said it can shoot sparks. Well, I bought one of the first Ti Boomies, but never really kept an eye out for the spaks and never noticed any, either. Anyway, my second Ti Boomy has been sparking a lot lately. Has anybody noticed this on your Ti Boomy?

really....... hmmm may need to pick up another one, havent had one in a while. i can see it now, tip dipped in lighter fluid= fireballs

its dirt in your barrel that causes friction on the titantium creating sparks

no its not dirt...try shooting the paint at something metal,youll also see it spark when it hits it.the titanium makes friction as the balls shoots out of the barrel.

My ti boomer sparked a ton at our indoor (sand floor). Outdoors I never noticed it, less dirt and better lighting probably. A team from our indoor all shoot the titanium longbows, and sparks are all you see when they play.

man ,thats the coolest thing to watch. a guy i work with was shooting his trix, and all of a sudden i saw tons of sparcks come out at once, must have been half a foot long!
must get one of these just for that lol!

there is titanium in paintballs. that's what makes them keep the color.
i've never seen this happen from a barrel, but i'd supposed that would be the cause

i've seen alot of titanium boomies, and i've never seen sparks flying out the end. Maybe i didn't notice because i wasn't aware of the problem, but for whatever reason...i want one now.

Its the static electricty like someone said. I remeber my old tit stick doing it at the indoor. It was definatly freakin cool. But yes, it IS static created by the ball going past the titanium at that velocity.
