Testing:
Shooting the Lotus w/ XO Menace paint we noticed an average +21 fps increase w/ a +/- 3fps deviation. 297-300fps.
Shooting the Lotus w/ Diablo paint we noticed an average + 13fps increase and a deviation of +/- 7fps. 286-293fps.
Range testing was done on a marker stand and there was no wind to speak of. Being x-ball players we set up a shot that mimics our longest on the field. As expected the Lotus was ball on ball upto about 175'. Target was a 6" diameter shaft(flag pole) set at approx. 175'. With the XO Menace the barrel shot 9/10 and w/ the diablo the barrel shot 7/10. Im only going to mention this because I found it intersting is that the next best barrel in the testing was the stock 12" assassin barrel. During a Saturday practice and a 3 man on Sunday I allowed several of my players to test the barrel on different markers. They were shooting ego 8's, ego 5's, a dm6 and a pmr. General comments that were made was that "It aims itself", "It feels like an extension of my eye", "Ball on Ball I love It!" and "I got dibs on it next weekend". All were extremely happy and are asking when they can buy them. Most are shooting 14" Dye UL's or the 08 ego 14" shafts.
I also want to add that for all of you shooting egos....The standard loud ego crack is now gone! This barrel is by far the quietest barrel that we have ever shot on an ego!!!!! The Marq's volume level w/ the Lotus is very close to that of a dm/pm w/ UL.
Hope you found this helpful. I'll get you some pics the next time I have a chance. Look for a full review soon in the barrels section of pbn.

Thats a pretty barrel. There is only one other hand made barrel I know of. Are they made in the USA?

That is unfortunate. (about Malaysia) That means it is not as Hand Made as you claim. It can not be, children are not that careful! How are the tolerances handled at two different plants?
I am going to have to pass just for this reason. No offense the barrel looks great!
By hand made they must mean tip screwed to back by hand before shipping to USA distributors.

The barrel is machined in Taiwan by high-quality Japanese 4 axis CNC machines.
Some of the honing is done by hand by very experienced 'honers'.
The company is based in Malaysia for now.
The best thing is to test out the barrels and see the performance
Thanks for the interest.

Congratulations, you are saying that the barrel can't be good when you haven't even tried it.
Go try one out, you won't regret buying it.

Exact weight added. I am using an acculab scale so don't say that my scale isn't getting the correct weight.
Not going to get any more accurate than the numbers on the first post.

you might want to get the weights for all that extra oil, I can't imagine how much heavier my gun will be with all that oil
jk, I'll have one of these barrels by the end of next month

got this system not too long ago. played around ten or twelve games since. shot this random "hotbox" paint from the field and around 50 nightmare's. no lie this barrel was ball on ball on ball. i filled my 72/45 to about 2700 since the filler only went to 3000. and i tuned in my new ndz v2 bolt in my mini. granted my dwell was SUPER HIGH. about 4 ms too high. and i was shooting +/- 3 at most. and i got about 4 pods and a hopper. i was using the .689 and 14" tip. if i can i will try to upload pics.

Excuse me, we dont practice child labor here ok, so please dont make such false statement. Btw, if it is made here, I dont think its hand made too .. But since its reviewed nicely. I'll try to look for their factory and buy them cheap myself.. hehehee..
