Costs for Team Paint

Hey guys. For those who played PSP or have an idea...

for each event, how many cases of paint do you think a 5-man team is going to go through? Im trying to get a feel for how much a team is going to be spending on paint, per event.

plz and thank u

Your paint consumption isn't going to change just because you are at a PSP...
Take how much paint your team usually shoots in a game * 12 games in prelims (max)

There is your answer...

Im asking from the perspective of someone who will be attending his first tournament. Even if its not PSP. What does a 5-man team generally go through in paint in a tournament, example: PSP

Like the others are saying it really depends....... on the local level my team rarely uses over 2 cases per person. At PSP we bought 20 ( had 60 ordered ) and used 14 but we didn't make it out of the prelims. You also have to take in account how fast you finish games. The quicker the game the less paint your going to use.

And at these events.. Do most teams, not accounting for a paint sponsor, bring their paint from home? Or do most teams purchase cases of paint at the event for cheap?

Also, so say 20 cases more or less... x 35$ or so? = $700 in paint per event.

I wonder if Bill Gates plays paintball. We could use a wallet like that on the team. I mean player

You are allowed to bring your own paint but it must be a brand offered by sponsors of the PSP. A complete list can be found at www.pspevents.com

I would strongly suggest buying paint at the event as you will probably find a better deal and your paint won't come off the plane in the form of melted jello.
