1 "person" will be allowed in between the railing and the net for each team to coach. Gonna be funny when they have to jockey that for 5man LOL. Some psp dude is gonna have his work cut out for him.

My son just called and said that due to a hillside next to the field in question, there will be no spectating on the snake side. The PSP will allow you to have one "coach"

Just to get a solid explanation up...

Due to the layout of the land, about one half of the snake side of the Bawls field does not have enough level land outside the bike rack to safely accomodate spectators. To keep things fair, each team with games on the BAWLS field will be given a blue wrist band with their name on it that they can give to a spectator of their choice. That spectator can be in the area between the bike rack and the net, so long as they have eye protection (paintball goggles, but mask not necessary). You can only be there during your team's games, but you can transfer the band from one spectator to another. Like all spectators, however, the 'official spectator' can not be on your roster.

This goes for both XBall and 5-man games on the Bawls field.

The more I think about it, the more of a cool idea I think it is and maybe if this works out well it could be a standard thing at all events.

That's how it works in Europe and the Millennium Series already, and everything seems to work out well.

I would like to have this at all of the events. That would be great. At Cup with the crowds it is hard to get a spot on the fence sometimes.

doesnt this give unfair advantage to those teams on the bawls field? i mean there will be crazy yelling and countercoaching on all the other fields..but not on bawls....

this would work if it was universal to all fields....but not the way described.

How does Team A playing Team B on the balls field, which is equal, effect Team C playing Team D on the Smart Parts field which is equal?

It doesn't matter which teams play who on this field or that, the better team will usually win.

I will add....

The fact that one pitt was on the side of the field, and the other pitt was on the BACK of the field, then separated from the field by the Chrono Station was not very equal at all....
