whats the best stock trading firm/program for short term traders (1-2 weeks)

i was thinking e trade or charles shwab because i could trade off of my black berry.

what do you guys think?

1-2 week investing isn't too smart in this day and age. The market is way too shifty at this moment to want a profit out of something that short ranged.

With the way the economy is right now, long term investing could in turn make you a ton of money.

The firms you are talking about are not bad.
Just like everyone esle said. 1-2 weeks will not get you anywere.
If you are looking for short term the best is going to a CD for a 6 month.

right now is actually the best time to do it,
you have to catch things on its way up!

Now Goldman will sack you lost money and Morgan Stanley would have qualified for my stop loss, but all the others are doing nicely. I think that there still is quite some upside to go, although the financials really haven't been participating yet and we are coming to a resistance level at 9500. If the financials can manage to follow along here for the next couple of days, the market could break through the 9500 level and start heading for the 10500 level before it all comes crashing down again. However, it has already moved over 10%, and if it fails here, rest assured I will catch it and get some of the 10-15% decline that is sure to follow.

That's a 13.8325% gain on funds invested

In 6 days i made more money than most people will make for this year on there investments.

Trick is to try to guess where the market is going to try to stabalize itself at. Previous day, and foreign markets are huge into this.
