12 dollar entertance fee
160 dollar cases of paint
Now if u have a membership (70 bucks on opening day, 120 the rest of the year) there is no entertance fee and 80 dollar cases of paint
I think all they use there is inka jungle (canadian brand)

Most expensive local field within 45min drive from me is Top Gun Paintball NJ

$40.00 to play (includes air) and $80.00 per case of field only paint.

There are other fields within my 45min drive that are $25.00 entry and BYOP if you have your own gear. You can buy their paint for average prices.

Do they let the people who pay half price for paint play with those that have to play full price? That wouldn't be very fair if they do.

What really!?, of course they play together. The half priced paint is only for people that pay a membership fee. So they are "committing" to the field. This is not an uncommon practice.

Yes they do. Everyone plays together. Teams are very even though. They'll put rentals with egos and luxes. And then like everyone else

Making sure the teams are even is good, but this is the kind of things that keeps new players from coming back. When the "pros" (as the renters often call them) are not only better, with better equipment, but can also afford twice as much paint, one can see why the new players get intimidated.

Quit crying. If everyone catered too and played down to the new players, the sport wouldnt grow or advance. Life isnt fair and neither is paintball.

I've heard this is a larger field that seems as though they think they are top notch, but with prices like that I would beg to differ. $40 entry even with your own equip??

Hmmm, I thought it was logical analysis. But we can go with what you call it if you like.

So let me get it on record. You think it's good to have more experienced players, with better equipment play against new players and then penalize the new players by having them pay twice as much for their ammunition?

Disagree on the paint part. But hey listen here. Do u ever get better by playing with someone not as good as you. Most guys at my field are really good guys and will try to help the renters as much as possible. But the only way youll improve is by playing with people better than you
Just my 2 cents

Thank you. That's the only point I was trying to make.

Players will improve if they play players that are slightly better than they are, not if they are beaten up by players that are considerably better than they are. Then they just discouraged. That's my opinion.

I do disagree though that the only way you will improve is by playing players that are better then you. A few years ago we had a new speedball team show up out of "nowhere". Turns out they were playing on one of their farms just between themselves. When they finally hit the local tournament scene, they were pretty damn good, even though they had never played anyone else other than themselves.

Also, renters don't necessarily want to improve. They may just want to have fun and nothing more.

Lots of renters wouldnt even shoot alot of paint if they could though. So it kind of evens out i suppose

Almost played at a field in Georgia that was trying to sell Draxxus Bronze for $190 a case.

Don't remember the name, but I didn't actually play there

I remember a certain field that I wont name because its under new owners now and the paint is about $30 cheaper and 100x's better. But it was just under $100 a case and about $20 to get in. The paint that you would get for just under $100, I think I'd rather get hit by a rock.

This past weekend I paid right around $130 when I was done for the day. However, I didnt mind, the paint was good, its a big field with a ton of staff to ensure everyones having a good time and safe.

I would not be able to play paintball if the cases of paint were 100 dollars
