Question about Rebel/PTX grips

I'm actually need to know about the PTX grips..but I think Rebels are similar.

What I'm wondering about is the actual construction of the grip...specifically:

1) Is the grip hollow and is it possible to separate into halves (preferrably without destroying it)?

2) Is it feasible to disconnect the sear housing (black plastic box connected to the top of the grip) from the rest of the grip?

I have some plans for a complex mod but I'm trying to choose the right gun to do it to.

Also..if anyone has similar info on the PT Enforcer please share.

Thanks

The PT extreme grips are thick wrap-arounds, inside it is not hollow, it's like a big piece of plastic, with chunks taken out for weight I guess.

It also looks like the sear housing is moulded with the grip. one piece.

The enforcer has a hollow grip frame like on a stock spyder compact 2k... and it has a .45 panel on it...
