loose asa screw

The screw on/off on my asa on my 07 minion today just decided to disconnect from something inside. Now the screw is loose and when i screw in my tank, it catches at the end of the threads and it starts turning the screw with it, causing it not to seal and air to leak. is it broken ?

you could try taking your asa apart. instructions are in your manual. If you do decide to get a new asa, I reccommend an on/off asa. it's easier to work with, no resistance while screwing in/out your tank.
