Got a Tippmann? Want a pump? CHECK IT OUT!

Hello ladies and gents!

I just figured out how to make the cheapest pump kit for a 98 custom. I know your thinking why would you pump a custom? well....SOME OF US ARE PO' and we can't afford a trilogy $60+ pump kit $35 = 95 buckaroo's! I don't have that much and you don't need to spend it either!

The first thing you need to do is take apart your tippman and get to the bolt, then you need to take the oring off, and then your done.
Put it back together and take rod or some long thing, bolt it or duct tape it to the cocking pin the the make some sort of pump handle out of a soda bottle or buy one if your NOT PO'. then go have some fun with you new ghetto pump tippmann.

NOTES: This will give you the same shot count as before. All you are doing is letting the blowback gas escape out the bolt.
I will have hopefully a video and more pics up tomorrow. I have to go mill a pump handle.

tomorrow I will complete it and show it off. If it is a pump do I need a Co2 expansion chamber?

If your using Co2 in the cold doesn't expand fast enough.

expansion chambers are so liquid co2 will change into a gas before it enters in your gun

x-chambers are almost useless on 98c

ya i know what they are but why would u need one on a pump and not on the semi?

I had one on it when it was semi now I am going to take it out becuase I wont be shooting as fast.

I just did it to mine, now when I shoot it does the thing like your out of co2. (sounds like a zipper fart, and the bolt rattles back and forth a couple times)

Someone help me. The only way I can upload file to photobucket is if I send them to myself thru Gmail. That takes for ever if you have more than one picture and I made a video on my canon powershot 570 then try to import it into movie make and the piece of **** tells me it can't! help out!!!!!please

go to photobucket
click "upload files"
choose the files off ur camera/desktop
wait for them to upload
copy the "IMG" code and paste it here

I know that. The problem is it say "INVALID FILE TYPE" but breakthrough I got a vid coming right now a soon as it is done up loading! yah

This thing is at least 9 years old. Its the regular model 98, not the custom version. So epicly old.

here is the vid. It works for me. the other thing you can do is take a dime and JB weld and drill hole just big enough to fit over the pin (3/32 I think) then put it over it and jb weld it down to the chamber thing.

and then it should work.

yeah, I was going to mill it today on the lathe actually but i could find a frieken' piece of aluminum...
