The series prizes have not been figured nor will be they be figured until after the 4th event. It depends on SO many factors. When the series prizes are announced, keep in mind that there are two types of series:
Type 1 is a series who gives away mediocre prizes to several teams at each event and a nice series prize at the end to just one or a few teams.
Type 2 is a series who gives away nice prizes at every event to several teams and mediocre prizes at the end to just one or a few teams.
The MPS is more like type 2 but I’ll include that series gives away AWESOME prizes at EVERY event and mediocre prizes to SEVERAL teams in every division!
So with that said, at a minimum, the series prizes will be trophies and medals. However, KEE and I are working up details for possibly some sponsorship prizes but like I said, it depends on several factors… some of which I can’t talk about yet.
Thanks,
Dan

Hey guys... let me ask you a question. Instead of doing Mini's and a secondary prize AGAIN, what if I dropped the mini's and gave you all a TON of prizes... basically a whole setup (less the gun). For example, first COULD BE something like Tanks, Gear Bags, Loaders, Goggles, Jerseys, Harness, Pods, and what ever miscellaneous items the budget would allow. (not set in stone, I would need to run the numbers first).
Let me know your thoughts.

True it is tough to sell all those items individually, but keep in mind… if you sold it all as a package deal, you may be able to get more than what you would get out of a single mini. Food for thought.

sounds like a bad idea.
thats just more stuff to sell i mean you could do that for the lower level like l4 but doing that for the rest wouldn't be such a good one but thats just my thoughts.... and if you were to do that please get anything but yellow lol.

I would like to just stick with the guns. Maybe some different Guns in L2?

That is the problem though... I don't have a lot to choose from when it comes to markers from KEE

Let me do some thinking and I'll see what I can come up with.
Be advised though that if it is something other than mini's, then it will probably be just the marker and nothing else

I did some checking and I can probably do like PMR’s and Gear Bags for first for L2 w/ 15 teams.
I think PMR’s sell for the same as the Mini’s so your actually going down on prizes if we take this route.
Let me know your thoughts.

I can speak for my entire team that we'd prefer everything you'd mention in thread #48. Such a prize package could filter down to the entire team, especially those that need it. And whatever is left we could sell for paint. Albeit, it would have to be top rate kit such as:
Tanks: 68/4500 Guerrilla Air Myth
Gear Bags: Eclipse
Loaders: VL Jrs.
Goggles: JT Proflex
Jerseys: Eclipse Distortion Jerseys
Harness: NXE
Pods: Fat Boy
Such a prize package could better benefit newer teams not as established as those in your current golden stable. In other words, they'd play that much harder to get kit, while those that don't care for kit won't. Agreed that this would mainly benefit L3 and L4. L1 wouldn't care and L2 for the most part just wants the trophy and money. But there are a few L2, like us, that are good on guns but do need kit.
Can you make it optional and provide the prizes at a later date, i.e. mail it to the team?

Since shipping costs and with the cost of shipping (gas) these days, shipping is for the most part avoided when we can. I'll talk to KEE and if we give away clothing (jerseys , pants, etc.) I can see about mailing them out.

Side note.... I checked on Protégé’s with a local supplier and they are currently sold out through BL. All other BL markers are too expensive for the budget I have to work with.
