A twin turbo LS1 would be a dream!
I have seen a very clean job on one that was dropped into a z32. Very very sexy
Well, I addressed the starter squeak. Dropped the starter to find out that the teeth on the flexplate had been previously chewed to ****! Needless to say, I wasn't the happiest person in the world...
Unbolted the turbo350 (Which may or may not be built. It has a summit pan and a B&M ratchet shifter. I'll have to drive it to see
) and stuck a spare flex plate that a buddy of mine. Had the starter bench tested and then bolted it back on. Now she turns over like a dream, but I need to finish timing the engine really badly.
Then I can get back to the power steering pump and eventually on to the suspension. After the car is driveable it becomes time to go at the interior
I have a few pics to upload from todays work. I'll try to have them up tomorrow for you guys. Nothing too terribly interesting, but it's better than what I've been providing so far...
All of this work on a small block is starting to change my mind about wanting to stick the rebuilt l24 back into my 240Z! I think it might need more SBC
Maybe I'll stick the 307 into it after we build something else for the camaro down the road.
