Revvy Questions...

I asked this in the Revvy forum, but to no privail..... Well I was wondering a few things about revvy's.....

Would a 12 volt Clear be any good ?
- Do the new ones have any problems with sensors? from what I have heard from other people the new ones are fixed... is it true?

What type of things work with it
- such as paddles?

Do the necks on the clear ones break off easily?

Thank you for your responces.....

I also was wondering....

The revvy's that come in packs at walmart.... I think they say 9 volt, and 18 volt.......is that 18 volt regulated down to 12?

How can I tell the difference between the old revvy's and the new good revvy's?

Thanks again!

The new Revs have no problems with the sensors like the old ones did when you put them into sunlight. If you're seeing Revs at WalMart I can without a doubt say that they're the new version.

You can use paddles from other revs in the rev, but I'm not really sure why you'd want to unless you have a 9 volt rev that only has the two arms and want 4 arms.

Yes, 18 volt revs are regulated down to 12 to lengthen battery life. And the necks haven't ever had a problem with breaking off that I've heard of.

Oh no no. Those revs won't the X-Board in them, they'll just have the new sensors that don't mess up in sunlight.

As far as I know, you can't buy the revs with the new x-board yet. I think you just have to buy the board and upgrade yourself or have BE do it for you (if you stop by their booth they give you fun information like this too).

I think you would be happier if you picked up a used 9v or got a 9volt from wal-mart and got the Turbo Rev from Wicked Air Sportz. It is definitely worth it and anything that replaces something made by BE has to be good.

I'd just like to throw in here that the 9v revvy will be enough to keep your M98 fed if you dont have a RT kit, or electro..... I havent been able to out shoot it yet... I was goofing around with it, and mine was actually feeding at about 9bps a few times, with the stock paddles..... But with that, and a say "stock" m98 (when I say stock, I mean with out the RT/electro) it will be enough for you
