Arrow How to raise money to telelvise

Well, why not seek funders? Like dicks sporting goods or other things like that. They pay for it and in return they get to advertise. Just a thought.

It's a LITTLE bit more complicated than that.

It's called sponsors, and if it were that easy, you'd see a whole lot more paintball on TV.

You would think it wouldn't be so hard. I would think all the sporting stores would jump on this.

Not after they see the stats from previous paintball shows on TV. Advertisers care about the numbers - the more viewers, the more exposure they get when they run an ad.

Actually, the real issue is that the advertisers don't care about the commercial time at all. If they buy a commercial during a program X people are watching, it doesn't matter if it's paintball or baseball or anything else. Paintball can't win on the commercials unless paintball can deliver more viewers than anything else that could be run in that spot.

You are right, alot of PAINTBALL commercials.

You are already watching paintball shows for a reason, in order for the sport to grow, we need outside Sponsors, and companies advertising.

If a team could get sponsored by a cleat company, I.E. Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc. That would be major progress.

I am in really good with Fox racing gear, as I was sponsored by them for motocross, and they are watching the paintball scene grow, and have thought about possibly making a run of pants and jerseys, possibly also a goggle system.

All of that stuff would be beneficial to paintball becoming more recognized as a sport, and not just staying a recreational hobby, in the eyes of the mass public.

It's not a bad idea, it's just also not like no one has considered it before.

Nascar is one of the most popular sports out there. It's not going anywhere.

anybody ever think what walmart could do for the sport? i mean, i know that it is the sum of all evil in everyone's minds, but if walmart started carrying semi-decent equipment, like maybe vibes and ions, and started carrying decent paint, and doing both air and Co2 fills, the sport would be sooo much more accessible (there is a walmart almost everywhere). they would also be a huge boost in advertising revenue.

the only problem i can foresee is that they would drive out competitors, but i think most people, after buying that initial vibe/ion/electro spyder, go on to the pro shops for service and new equipment anyways. if the big box retailers started carrying more selection/quality goods, i think the sport would grow immensely. it would especially help small colleges like mine, who only have 1 paintball dealer (outside of dick's) within a 10 minute distance.

Although I loathe Wally-world, I have to say I agree. If wal-mart decided to become a seller of better gear then the sport would advance. Unfortunately, it would also add to the amount of idiots with guns, but that just can't be helped.

They wouldn't drive out local shops unless they had field (IMO) because its just... easy to walk into the store 2 feet from the field your playing on.

People don't go to Wal-Mart to buy high-end stuff. They don't carry it - for anything.
