How much is a PYRE worth.

Back around the Holidays I mentioned to my wife how much I loved the new UN- NAMED Palmer Pump marker. Guess what I got for Christmas, PYRE #10. I have used this gun twice and both times I thought my arm was going to fall off. I am 51 years old with a bit of arthritis. My question is, how much is it worth? I will more that likely have to sell it. Thanks

It really depends on the buyer. PPS products only appeal to a small market, and the pumps even more so. To the right buyer it's probably worth 75 - 85% of the new cost, to the normal person much less.

I wish you posted this before I bought mine (it's being built right now), depending on options I would have probably jumped on it.

I purchased Mr. Dupont's marker, and it was a beauty, that is for sure.

Thanks Pete! =)

I mainly purchased it to help out Pete so he could get another marker, or at least use the money instead of having it sitting around unusable. And I wanted to try a Pyre before I bought one, so I got his.

After such, I re-sold it for around how much I bought it for, loved it, so called up Lori and ordered a "Custom Jungle Camouflage Anodized Right Feed Cherry Pyre with Black accents/Black T-pump handle."

That's a mouthful, and to top it off, to my knowledge, is the only right feed 'cherry pyre' in existence, much less in "Jungle Camouflage", and note that it is NOT "acid wash".

No idea what it will end up looking like, but I have some faith that'll it be unbelievable as I've come to expect from Palmer.

That gives me shivers. Gorgeous gun.

I can't wait either, I didn't even know they even offered a jungle camo anno there. I already have a 2KLG Blazer, but it's just a green acid wash.

*shrug* Should be exciting, that's for sure.

I'm not sure what sparked the most envy;

1. you playing at the age where most of my older friends have renounced such frivolities

2. Getting a low-serial Palmer for Christmas.

3. Having a wife who'll pay attention to what you want, do the research to get it right, and lay out the cash for something nice.

The other two were just this and that, but Congradulations on the last one .
