you pm'd me about the tryout but sorry to say i cant commit the time to come down. i drive a truck that gets 7mpg and am starting a new job soon that i only have thursdays and saturdays off. plus my national guard committment, college, and a needy fiancee lol


ions arent bad, its the player not the marker. especially for starting, its what they are made for, once you get the game down you will be pwning n00bs lmao. you saw me, the first game i knocked two of you guys out in a run through then got my lily white *** handed to me the rest of the day lol

ahaha well that's not saying alot since me and joe (kid with blue shirt+ion) both are awful lmao. and then you played your cousin and the one legged guy for the rest of the day except a few games. i was using that terrible rental gun and a grav hopper (i mean really... my paint literally almost went 60 degrees to the left every shot. :|) so we'll see how it goes with my own equipment... all i know is it's all i can afford cause i'm cheap and i just got a bunch of new guitar stuff and 3 new studio mics. but oh well, i guess i'll see how i do.

he'd rather watch me be poor :| but oh well. i got most of my other hobbies paid for for now. so i can finally afford (well, kind of) being able to play. plus crazy is open all through winter right? i might actually might understand how to play by next summer.

lol i do believe the indoor field is open all winter. i just got a new, way better job that i get off on thursdays and saturdays. so once my checks start rolling in ill get to play just about every weekend. we will have to meet up again, my first time playing speedbal was awesome with having guys learning along side me. who knows maybe by winter we can set up a rec team to practice against tourny teams

yeah i'm getting a new job this month since odd jobs aren't really cutting it for me anymore. so i'll be able to start playing. probably every other. but yeah man i'm all for it just let me know.

next time i go to the field ill post here in advance so we can meet up and play again. we can talk about it at the field and see how the other guys like the idea and we can maybe form a rough team with no real comittment other than playing at daves and playing with each other as much as possible

we were just throwing an idea around. we wouldnt exactly be an organized "team" per-say. just a group of rec players growing in skill with each other and regulary (sp?) play with the same group of guys on normal weekends. maybe haveing some scrimmages against local teams who are looking for fresh blood to play against. this may very possibly evolve into an actual tourny team.

i honestly havent had the money or time to consistantly play since i got into paintball. i am starting a good job on the 28th where i have off on saturdays so i can play just about every weekend so yes i hope to be out a lot this winter.

i feel this could benefit the group of us im hoping to play with as well as the other teams we could scrimmage. when we all get out to the field together we can meet and talk more about the idea. and if we do evolve into an actual "team" i am in cahoots with a guy who owns an online paintball store with great connections so im sure we may be able to swing a small sponsorship, but i dont want to bring it up with him until things get real
