played there for my first time on saturday (fourth time ever playing speedball.) so much more laid back then some of the other places i've been to. love to find some people to meet up with.

yes july 27th is a 3 man. after that the next one is august 24th and its a 5 man. im gonna try and make it out to the 27th tourny to see if they need any help reffing or be a pinch player if at all possible.

its a $25 entry fee that gets you free rentals and all day air/co2 and $35 for a case of heat. for tournaments its $75 rookie and $100 amature for a 3 man and $150 rookie $200 amature for 5 man with $65 for a case of ramp. i feel they are very good prices compared to anywhere else.

its an hour if not less from pittsburgh. just jump on 79 and get to 19.

it's kind of in the direction of like grove city really. most people know where that is. but it's cheaper than all american. that being said the quality of all american is much higher. it's one of the best fields i've ever played at (it's just too far of a drive for me...)

ive stopped by crazy daves before saturday and it was in much better condition than what it was. when i came by they had a few fields blown up and the bunkers were better inflated. i was kind of hoping to play on the indoor field but i guess there wasnt enough people to waste the electric

well the guy said he wasn't even planning on being opened that day since he had his family over or w/e and it was right after the 4th. so i'm sure it'll be better maintained and a better crowd on a day not on a holiday weekend

a group of 10 of us are coming up on the 19th.....When you go to the find field option it says they dont have co2, I cannot imagine this to be true....(not that it bothers me, but my friends still use it)

from the website. but you might want to call to make sure. they have the air fills obviously, but i've never really used co2 so i'm not sure.

they have a co2 fill station but i think they do it for you. when i bought my paint i saw the cylinder sitting in their rental shack.

i have training that weekend but if we should happen to get off sunday ill try and make it out.... last paycheck sucked

does anyone in here ref for the tournies? i want to become one. i talked to the owner and his son about it but they never got back to me.

have you reffed a tournament before?? if not, heres some advice.....

Dont do it unless you are getting paid, or if it is a short tourney....I ref at a field for the 3 man series....last sunday, games started at 9, and were over at 5:30.....ended up being 101 games.....

Some time this winter ill be out to daves to keep up my game.

yea i dontt think $25 entry is bad seeing as the renters get free rentals and a case of heat is $35 so its not bad at all. i might be getting a new job so if i get it i should be out hopefully almost every weekend

never shot heat....field I used to go to had team colors, and now I just shoot anything I can get my hands on for gruntball

it seemed to do pretty good. its a lower grade of paint but they broke on impact and nobody had any chops or barrel breaks that i know of. and it was a hot humid day
