i tend to agree with that. Also they have contradicting info on their own website http://www.blastcamp.com/event.htm says 60 a case.

And honestly, why tell people they have to buy 3 cases. I mean 10 teams min most teams will probably go through more than just 3 cases at the very least. If they get 20 teams it will probably be closer to like 7 or 8 cases. So putting a "have to buy" just seems well, stupid and not very friendly to players even though they will buy paint for the event, no pointing in telling them they have to.

Also what brand and grade of paint will be used?

all we're saying is what's the point of stating that? 3 man teams, at least 10 other teams. Everyone is going to buy at least 3 cases of paint just to play. Saying 3 is required is just redundant and makes you seem greedy.

This tournament is for newer players looking to have fun, not whiny players.

i kinda hope no one shows up to this thing just because of your attitude. saying "don't like it, don't play" won't help very much in the paintball world.

GOOD LUCK

never been there, but definitely not now

Why argue with the rules? I played one of these before only shot 4 cases and we won.. So the three case minimum is a good rule.. Its true tho, if you dont like the rules dont play. Instead of complaining about the thread just leave it alone...

also u now state that it is 4 newer players, then y did u put rookie/novice in the add ?
its a business.. maybe one day Unicef will get into paintball, but until then you have to pay.

It is posted as rookie/novice, that is defined as less then 2 national tournaments in 366 days.

Now, thanks for you concerns about or event, if you do not like the rules, we are not changing them.

wow i was almost thinking about this but the attitude just makes me never want to go to this field. I mean ,"This tournament is for newer players looking to have fun, not whiny players," makes you sound not very friendly to players at your field.

We have a postive attitude, but its hard when people complain becuase of the rules. Rules are rules, they are set for a reason.

Look at our tournaments from last year.. we gave away Eteks and Protos and everyone was fine with the 3 case minium.

If you don't shoot 3 cases, cool you still only paid ~$270 as a team for 3 G3's which is about $1290 if you bought three. I don't see the big deal here...

65 a case of premium is kinda steep for paint but it is business and y u only refunding 25 or 50 of the dollars back if there is not 10 teams to up? so u basically saying if i sign up early and pay in full and then no 1 else signs up i am only getting 50 back? so u keeping 25 of my dollars because ur group didnt do good advertisement and getting people to sign up for ur tourny that is kind of messed up. in a way the owner can kind of hope that 9 teams pay and hope that is it and still makes 225 for nothing and still have 3 guns to sell? kinda weird

MSRP for RPS Premium is now $64.95

We purchase the markers that we give away, we do not get them for free.

The deposit is refunded, in full, if ten teams do not arrive. The registration does not require the entire amount be paid in full. You lose your deposit if you are not present at the event.
