Grillz vs I4

Having used a VForce profiler over the past few weeks I haven't had a single issue with fogging up as compared to my (JT Spectra, JT Flex, and a couple others). I was leaning toward the Grillz, but I'm digging the looks of the i4.

Anyone had any problems with the fogging in either of these. Any other info like on comfort for long term wear, size, etc.

I've got 3 Grillz and I've had zero issues with them. They work great and fit good. The i4s will treat you good, some guys I know use them and love em. Far as long term wear goes, I've wore my Grillz for 8 hours straight at a scenario game.

Since that's out of the way. Before you go and slap some money on a new mask, be sure to try it on first and make sure it fits your face. That's the best advice I can give to players swapping masks. Everyone's face is different and every mask is built different, so one mask will fit and feel better than another one. I've used both the Virtue VIO and HK KLR, but neither fit my face as well as the Grillz. So be sure to try the i4s first before buying a pair.

Thanks. But at the same time that's going to be hard because I don't know anyone who has a i4. The local field carries Empire and Vforce.

Hmmm......Okay, try an EVS from Empire. The foam and size isn't the same but how it'll sit on your face will pretty close. The i4s is a jaw line mask, so it isn't big as the EVS. But they have similar lense size, so you'll at least get an idea of how it'll sit on your face. My next suggestion is to find a cheap used one for sale. You can normally pick up an i4 for about $60 - $80, cause of the recent price drop.

I will see if he has one in stock. He doesn't carry as much stuff as he used to due to people buying everything online or used and he didn't want to have a ton of money invested in stuff no one was buying. If I go Saturday I will have to ask. Thanks!

My gripe is always peripheral view. Profilers are good, so are i4s. Not a fan of Grillz. They look cool but limited view IMO.

These are two masks I typically use, I lean towards I4. Grill breathes a little better, sits too far off my face (anything else but I4 sits too far off face once you're used to them)
