LPR Slot in Grip Frame

Is Bob Long still letting people send in their guns to get their Grip Frame milled out for easy access to the LPR? or is there a charge now.

It's free if you send in JUST the grip frame, with all the components out of it..if you don't want to bother, it's $40 if I remember correctly.

I had it done when i sent in my gun for repairs because it wasn't shooting when i got it, and they did this for free, as well as flashed my board! Defiantly the best customer service in the game!

quick Q. when they add the slot do they actually mill your existing frame or change it for a new one thats milled. the only reason I ask is I assume they dont re-anno the frame after milling it if thats what they do.

yes there is but you cant see it from the side, only when you look up into it, its still a very nice clean looking job!
