hey i was wondering how all the user names are compiled, like do you categorize everyone by their user names? emails? ip numbers?

main reason why im askin is cause the whole ip checking thing on people, would it be easier to categorize people on the ip numbers of their computers?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. How do we "categorize" everyone? We can search for users by any number of means, be it IP addresses, email addresses, usernames or other information.

im sorry, let me try to clarify...

are all the users on pbnation in any specific category, or is their just 1 big list...

reason why i was wondering is if they had it in categorization to help tracking BOS's and scammers and such

The site uses a relational database, so we're able to link many different characteristics of a user together.

We have many tools at our disposal to track people who are repeat offenders, but I can't really go into more detail than that.

i figured you would be limited on what you can discuss, but i was just wondering the extent on how well you can actually track people down, i was gonna post up in the suggestion forum about categorizing by ip addresses to track scammers and bos's and what not but i see you guys have it already which is great knowing
