Ego-wrath.

so i was looking at a friends ego,
and notice that the solenoid runs off of 2 air hose, from the lpr, to the ram.
and thought wow, thats looks kinda like how the wrath functions.
and i was thinking.
why has nobody tried this before,
throwing an ego frame, board, solenoid, and eyes in a wrath.
everything would work because they theoretically work the same.
lmk what yall think.

That has nothing to do with the solenoid, board, eyes, part of the gun.

The only way that it would work is to mod the frame onto the gun (the easy part) and make sure the the ego noid can handle the wraths operating pressure, which I'm 95% sure it can't. You can find a noid that can handle the pressure then mod it into the frame. I know there's one noid out there that can work, I forgot the name of it but someone here had a video of it firing.

well what if we shave some wait off the ram, so it can function at a lower pressure, then it should be set.

It would not work unless you used a wrath noid or another hp noid. The ego noid would not work for two reasons.
1. Not high enough pressure.
2. The wrath noid is a true three way, one in, one out, and one exhaust. Ego noids are four or five way.

uhh, did you miss the last post about milling the ram,
or using an aftermarket ram(acp??)
so we can lower the pressure, and raise the dwell, therefore having no affect on the solenoid.

also, im working on a design for a pneumatic wrath(no electronics)
ill make a new post containing that info when its completed.

Making the ram weigh less would require a higher pressure.

That is unless you make a new ram spring that works better with the lighter weight ram, like ACP with the midweight ram.

yea, new springs can be made,
its gonna be a b**** finding the right tension though.

ha, thats not the point.
the point is having some thing ghetto,
running like a champ.
or to have something unique.
besides its just fun to build stuff
im working on a new ram design btw.

instead of using an ego frame, you could use a legend frame, since they both are fasor and all you would need to do is drill 2 holes in the frame to mount, other than that you just need all the electronics/noid from the legend

legend noid probably cannot handle the pressure needed for the wrath

yea, its possible.
but the whole point of this is to make an ego-wrath
not a legend-wrath, although this could be a fun profect.
im looking at diff solenoid manafactures atm.
maybe ill make my own using diff parts.

Mac solenoid ftw. It's tiny and handles up to 200psi without a problem. It's a true 3way noid.

This sounds like it will cost a lot of time and money, and in the end, the gun will still be FASOR.
