We need a permanent c-c-c-c-combo breaker around here...

Aren't these thread "combos" the ultimate form of spam and/or thread-crapping?

All over ST, there are pages worth of users senselessly repeating what the person before them said (thus a "combo"). We've all seen it; 20 back-to-back posts, each one saying something to the effect of "lol but the pooper attacks back". In some cases it's an actual serious thread (yes, I realize there is a flaw in my statement, serious =/= ST) that will get combo'd past the 2-page mark in a matter of minutes, making the thread useless.

If you are going to enforce a no-spam/crapping rule, why is the staff allowing thread "combos"?

I really don't care. I find them amusing. But with that said, it'd be asinine to ban/infract somebody for spam and not do the same to people partaking in a "combo".

I, personally, consider that spam and will infract for it. Please remember though, that you can't see other user's infractions, so they could be getting in trouble for it, but you won't know.
