Is the 07 minion barrel just a restyled pipe barrel?

My other pipe backs didn't work with the front that came with the marker. I don't know of that was just my barrel, or if this is common

It might be because of the restyling of the barrel for 07, maybe they changed the threads. I didn't even know it was a pipe until paul told me.

Now im not sure if it is a pipe back. Their site just says 2 piece barrel. Its probably a mimic of the proto barrel.

Its neither. I have pipe kit, minion and a PM7 and neither of them are compatible other than the cocker threading.
