What always happens to me when I try to clean something or fix something to make it "better" (speaking from my personal expierence)I always make it worse. My motto is now if it isn't broke, don't fix it. The manual really does tell you how to do it, you will need some circlip (snapring) pliers and a few metric allen wrenches. Whenever you get it out just replace any broken seals and oil it up.
Oh yeah/and if god/does exist/I am sure he/will forgive/me for doubting. For he'd see/how unlikely he/himself seems....
