So if someone sued you for a million $$$$, you would continue to Design and produce a product that you know that you have to pay a "royalty" to another company that has no input in the design process ... Good incentive to find something else to do
it is a competitive market, and s#@$#@T Parts has flourished because of the large "shot in the arm" of cash that they got from suing everyone. Advertising, sponsorships for teams, design engineers the list of overhead costs is long ... sure helps when you sue everyone .. "Free money" WOOT-WOOT
ICD was always about the end user of their guns. Remember the "04 Freestyles? "03 Shocker? efficiency problems galore. S#!@T parts makes a new HE bolt that you could buy for an aditional $200 , that is on top of the $1K that you spent on the frickin thing in the first place. In fact you couldnt buy a shocker with the HE bolt "stock" until the NXT .. Like WTF.
ICD on the otherhand they realize their "mistake" and change the design mid production and , and they offer to install their new bolt design on any '04 Freestyle produced .... FOR FREE, YES ITS FREE, for those that already had thier '04's it would cost shipping one way ($20-ish) But it was still FREEEEE!! I dont know about you but I'd take free over a $200 dry hump in the A$$
