yeah, fill us in. i want to go in a few years, maybe during college and run with the Free French. i love the idea of being surrounded, outnumbered, and you get the idea.

Well like usual us Germans just began to dominate we scared the French out of St.mere-eglis (dont know how it's spelled) and then after that no American unit took any objectives what so ever the Commonwealth (british) took CAEN and Pegasus Bridge the only 2 objectives that fell --- The americans did take utah beach but we took it back within seconds but they still gave them the points (mercy)......But all in all probably the toughest OK dday on both sides ever great fight all around.

wow i thought germans lost i was on Utah that was a tough battle from the first min. of it it fell in about 30 min but we got it back but then they took it back and they made a rule that no one could go to capture the flag but they said that was not, true even though they said it

That's not always the case, the German's have taken their fair share of woopins! In fact I believe the wins are close to even for both sides....
It would be interesting to get a little detail on some of the deciding factors tho.

I guess you forgot about when we took Colleville, twice, and held it. I was there with a bunch of people with the 82nd Airborne and the British/Canadians.

I was part of the Brandenburg Kommandos and we were close to destroying the airborne at the beginning of the game.

As far as scores go I think this was the tie breaker year, and the Germans won it. In addition, it was also the year that they filmed the game so it made the victory just that much better.

Definitely worth it to go next year if you're looking for some sick scenario games.

I was in the 352nd German division and we held them off Omaha Beach for a good four hours. Great times, and a TON of players.

Utah was awesome

The Jolly Green played Utah w/the German 709th....so many Allies to shoot, it was great and the last battle at Colleville was amazing too! Great D-Day all in all and great battles all day.

Great Job D-Day Staff & Refs!

I played with the 6th... had a blast. Went over to Utah beach, met up with the boys from jolly green and had an awesome time there with them.

I think some of the best paintball was at the last 2 hours at colleville.. that was crazy.

i was with 1058 MEK. and it was awesome. i agree that the last battle was the best though. good game there allied. made my first dday great. and the 20 hour drive from vegas worth it.

I'm with Ghost Recon, we were in the 82nd airborne 508th Easy company. we helped take colleville back several times, at the end, there were massive amounts of allieds on the Omaha side, and massive amounts of germans on the opposite side. During the last 20 minutes of the game, a measley 5 germans ran into the middle of colleville to try to change the flag. They were all shot out instantly, but one continued to run, and changed the flag. The ref was standing right next to him, letting him change the flag. It was total complete bs, the allieds were never able to take it back. And then two german tanks parked out of bounds, one was actually parked INSIDE colleville, and the tanks started to shoot at the allies. The refs didn't do squat about it.
