The guy that hauled our two tanks out reported over $1000 one way... Pick up truck hauling a trailer. Mini tanks, but one was a fairly heavy little vehicle.
I have to assume the gas prices is the reason three of our larger tanks (ODX and Bravo 2-0's) in the Commonwealth didnt make the trip. They were gonna end up hauling them on a transfer truck...

I think that was me you're talking about. Silver Dodge RAM with the 2 Blackheart tanks.. It was about $1000 roundtrip, not one way. 850 miles each way, and we averaged about 11MPG.

Another interesting gas figure: the helicopter that was buzzing around burns 14 gallons an hour of AvGas, which is about $4.30 at the moment. Figuring it flew on and off for three days...I'm happy for my 25mpg!

Yes, they also charged like $25 per passenger for a 20 minute flight.. The gas cost was more than covered.
