My Victor Project

well, after hours of sanding down my old victor body i polished it. it has more shine in person, but for the most parts its looks alright for my first time polishing.. My parts came in the mail today.. i drilled out my valve, lpc, and the reg adapter or whatever you want to call that. tell me what you guys think.
upgrades/mods:

-lp holes
-lpc

-gas thru grips
-highly modified striker (pics up in a couple minutes)

-halfbacked

soon to come:

-50 gram switch
-clamping feedneck
-new trigger

I am hoping they make some titanium strikers for the vs2/3. I reccomend that before you do anything else to the striker stick it in the gun and air it up. It might leak/not cycle properly with being that light.

it cycles properly nice and smooth! i test fired it yesterday. no recocking issues either, it felt like one of the smoothest cycles i have ever felt on a spyder... i havent takin it to the crono yet but im guessing im gonna need a spring kit.. can someone explain how to balance the springs.

It will take a while to get a good spring combination. Make sure you check for efficiency and proper velocity.

yeah i used most of the parts u sold me, the lpc gas thru grips lpc and asa, eframe.. the rest i grabed from another gun or had other moded parts.. i put together a whole other mech spyder with parts from everywhere.. its pretty funny.. it has a imagine body with a tl-x frame and a victor lpc and asa. haha

and btw the reason for the not recocking is your valve, i need to take it out of the imagine body and get new orings for it.. but thanks again

What cutting disks did you use? How many did you go through, and how long did it take?

i used the sanding disks.. they come in a little tube of like 36 or something i got them in a kit.. when i was useing one they kept brakeing so i doubled up and tripled up, then cut through them.. i didnt thing a metal disk would be the right fit.

They always brake and shatter when the get in a wierd position but i went through about 18.. its like 3 bucks give or take a buck or two for the whole tube of 36 so no problem.

It took about 45 mins.. i was working slow, i cut down verticaly first, so that i would have to cut the metal chunk of on each side for the chunk to pop out. then i cut one side so now the chunk is cut in three spots and only one spot is holding it on, and then i cut the last spot and it fell right off.. if that made any sence at all.. hope it did.
