well...kinda...but i might (MIGHT) be doing something more lavish but that will depend on how hard it is for me to get the basics done...

OK, so i have a question for those who which to answer about the top tube...
do you think it should be cut stright down or down at an angle?...the angle would be close to the marker line in the first two pictures (it's a black sharpie line)? I was thinking the angle but i think the stright down might look good too...please share your thoughts...thanks!

im still working on the body...so no update there...sorry. (i know that all of you have been on the edge of your seats waiting to hear how i messed up...lol)
Thanks for being the only one to answer BIP8ntb@ll...i think i like the angle too...
i do have a question about using my Chaos Max'ed "blue" board with the LPM internals...the Chaos chip only allows for an 8 or 10ms Dwell...is that going to effect the efficency of the marker? for the BKO internals it was fine but i just don't know if it will bottleneck the performance of the LPM internals...

ive run into that dilemma as well. all i can say is wait till you have it all together and try it. yeah, it might hurt efficiency a little having the dwell higher than it needs, but you can always buy a new board with more dwell adjustment later on.
are you going to be using a PM grip or are you going to be using the stock grip? if you are going to be using the stock grip, goodluck! its taken me a good bit of dremeling and test fitting to get everything to fit in mine. and the 8200 board is too big IMO to fit right.

well..im going to be using the stock BKO frame...and the way i have it set up the battery is in the grip and the board is in the tray...so i don't think there will be any problem since im not planning on changing any of that...but thanks for the post...

Yeah, nobody posts here anymore. I still check back for new threads every now and then to try to help people fix their BKOs. But I'm excited to see this thing.

yeah, i wonder how much ICD (or who ever owns the rights) would sell us the rights to the BKO for? Now that would be a project...lol

OK, so here we go. I will say now that this is my first attempt and use of a Dremel and files, so I think i did pretty good and it was fun...until the Dremel blew up...no, really...i was grinding out the grip to make room for the battery and noid and the damn thing let the magic smoke out...and i wasn't done yet...so, in the last picture, you will see what i have to live with until I can get a new Dremel...lol

This one's a bit blurry but you can see the notch that i made between the tubes.....i mis-measured the angle of the cuts for one side, so i had to adjust my original design...but i like how it turned out...

and the last one...i had to smile every time i looked down and saw it on the field...
ok...so that's what i have done so far....eventually, i would love to have the sides of the upper and lower tubes milled flat...to get rid of the original mill job and lighten her up some more...i just don't have the gear to do that...and i don't know if it would affect the eye covers at all...either way...i would like to get the top tube milled down some more...then, im thinking a fresh coat of anno...but all of that is well into the future...right now, im very pleased with the work that i did considering that it was a dremel, a file set and some fine and course grit sand paper...lol...so, what do you guys think?
