Phone Upgrade
I'm thinking of picking up a Nokia 6555, in exchange for the one I have now since I'm way over due for an upgrade w/ Cingular AT&T. Can anyone think of a phone that's more call efficient? I don't use a home phone, only a cell. So, a reliable reception is of my highest priority. I need one that can be trusted to pick up and dial out where signals are generally weak for others.
Opinions from you tech. guys would be appreciated, thanx

Glyde or LG Dare (Verizon version of Vu)?
The .25" screen size difference between the two isnt an issue for me, because the Glyde has a higher resolution screen. The keyboard is another big thing for me. The main deal breaker on the Glyde is I hear the camera is meh, and the Dare will have a 3.2MP camera.
I just want to see other peoples opinions. I am very indecisive, but leaning towards the Glyde

I don't like using the touch screen for texting..I hit to many buttons...and i'm like ****..so I like the keyboard..my phone has one and its awesome..I have the pantech duo..

i don't like verizon. who wants to be stuck w/ their ****ty ui and vcast and all that. way to butcher nice korean phones.
im planning on buying sharp 920sh. i still have to wait on unlocking full functionality. no media for now. only texting and calls. that's what america gets for being 5 years behind asia.

I use an unbranded unlocked Samsung U600 from UK. I got the soft black color.
Every thing is peachy but I get a "Streaming Settings Wrong" error when I click on youtube videos. 
No other problems. Running on ATT.

now I have a tilt.
my u600 is the white version.
cant wait for my work week to be over so I can start customizing my tilt.
12 hour days are ****ing draining.

Alright so I have settled on the Env2 for VerizonWireless.
I wish ATT didn't suck so much because I want a Sony Ericsonn W580i.

I had a sk3, hated it. Luckily I had the warranty because the charging stopped working on 4 of them total. I just recently bought a blackberry curve, and I'm in love with it.

I love my enV. Good choice, although I'd prefer the old one, the new one's front < *
I've had a few friends have problems with the keypads on the W580is stop working on them, and I know at least one of them actually takes care of it.

I finally broke down and ordered a SK cause it's much thinner than the previous SK's. Alot of people had problems with their dash about freezing up, but never had that problem.

I always seem to be changing phones. Right now im using a nokia n95. possibly the longest i have kept a phone. I <3 it. However im thinking now of changing to something with a full keypad. I was looking at the Sidekick LX, but ive had both the sidekick 2 and 3 and its OS always seems to drive me away (having to had their approved programs ) |

i was playing with the Lg Vu for cingular yesterday. it is very cool and light, but texting was kind of a *****. and the "full html" browser is no better than the internet access i get with my current flip phone, it doesnt load pages fully like the iphone.
my contract is up, so im in the same predicament. stay with cingular and get the Vu, or move to verizon to get the glyde. ima wait till june though to see if this rumored 3g iphone comes out |

If my parents decide to switch to AT&T.. how would this phone be? There's a buy one get one free deal goin on. The only bad thing I hear about it is the keys crack (people say they've fixed that prob though?).. and it unlocks itself when its in ur pocket and goes on the internet.
...if they decide to stay w/ Verizon what's a good phone that after discounts and rebates for signing another 2 yr contract is no more than probably $50 |

The w580i is more **** then you can fit on a plate, I have one and have had it repaired 3 times and replaced completely once. |
