Got my Sly profits in last week.

About to order my marker, this is what I plan on getting.

2011 Azodin Blitz
tect hush bolt
Azodin ASA on/off
Invert halo too hopper.
ninja CF 50/4500 tank.

Thoughts, suggestions?

This will be good for you starting up and at the recreational level. It will even last you into some early tournaments.

Good for now. Only thing would be to look into a carbon fiber tank. It would be lighter and will hold more air.

Okay, I've got 2 setups now (one for me, one for my brother) would like suggestions

Mine:
Geo+ (got for $300)
Dye rotor (got for $100)
45/45 pure energy tank w/nxe cover (got for free basically)
Retina sly profits ($90 with extra mirror lens)

Brothers:
DP Threshold. (got for $150)
Vlocity (got for free basically)
56/45 pure energy tank (looking to trade for 68/4500)
Vforce Grillz (got mint for $50)

Good? Bad? Any help is appreciated

-Tippman a5 response trigger.
-3000psi 47cu Tank
-Low profile hopper (came with the gun)
-Proto Anti-Fog mask. Olive camo.
-Empire Pod Pack, Holds two pods.
-14 inch pathfinder barrel.
-Some black bdus which are probably my best purchase. I love them.

I'm very very new to paintball, I'm starting to go almost every weekend with my friends, who are also very new. So if you have any criticism on my setup please let me know because I would lime to get a flatline, but I'm not sure if the apex 2 is better. Also the a5 is an air hog, so any advice on an upgrade tank would be nice. Thanks guys.
I play recreationally, but would like to get a competition gun in the future.

I play recreationally, but would like to get a competition gun in the future.

Your setup is fine for recreational play. A tippmann is a good marker to start with. Play with that for a while. When you are interested into getting into tournament, then look at some mid-end tournament markers. Beware, you will also have to get a new hopper and you may want a bigger pack for tournament play.

I just found out that the tank is sold. Really all I am looking for is the marker and hopper. This would be my first marker. I was looking to go new with a 2011 Azodin blitz, halo too, and ninja cf tank. the blitz and halo would be just about 225. I know Bob Long stuff is expensive so if I can get a good deal on a used one I would prefer that.

Up for sale is my Bob Long Vice

Asking $450 for everything extremely FIRM (cash only)

The marker is stock (no 4 eyes or board upgrade) I still have original box!

Extremely flawless! practically brand NEW

Also comes with an LPR gauge.

The gun has never seen any tournament play and always gets lots of looks at the field.

only 12-16 cases of paint through it, if that.

I'd hate to see it go, but my friends no longer paintball and it's not fun to go alone.

I'm also including a print out of the Manual since it's not included from the factory.

If it comes with all that except the tank, then buy it. It is a good deal. You can get a tank on the BSTs here for 100.

Let me know if things change, he said it was sold at asking price. I assume that is you. If you do not purchase I would be stoked as i am looking for my first marker.

Its all yours man! I honestly was going to buy it and then flip it anyway. Asking price my ***! I offered him 400 and he bit instantly...if I were you that's what I would offer..nothing more.

I'm looking at upgrading the threshold (since all that gear is mine, he just uses it.) And trading my bnib dye i4's+$$ for another rotor
