Good pics. I was about to ask for a comparison to the E-vents- since I am trying to decide between these 2 (SP/E-vent) The E-vents seems a little more larger than I thought.

I have seen photos of the SP mask and the goggles does not seem to have any ventilation holes- pictured from top of head/mask http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/m...e-phace-4.html

Question for you- How is the ventilation on SP in comparison to the E-vent (not anti-fog capability) In terms of allowing the area around the eyes to breathe? Does this pose any noticeable problem?

Condensation with the standard lens seems to be an issue in morning games or after a rain.

WIth the Thermal lens there is no issue with fogging/condensation.

I really did not pay attention to the ventilation around the eyes since I bought these for my GF, and let her pic which model she wanted. She loves them, her last goggles were Profilers.

I am sure with most high end mask that fogging on the lense is not much of an issue.

I have a cheap X-ray thermal mask (serves its purpose) and it feels like a trash can on my head. Even though the lens itself doesn't really fog up that much, still fogs a little- after several hours of play I find my reaching in and wiping the sweat around my face and eyes. That was one of my concerns.

I played in a scenario game on May 31st where everyones goggles were fogging, including my Events due to the humidity levels after it just rained. But after the first game everyone seemed to have better luck as the humidity levels went down. My gf did not have any issues with this after she switched out her standard lens to the smoke thermal lens in her SP mask.

My Comparison Pics

So here is my thread, to compare the overall look, and coverage, in 7 different masks, and as i get more (or find more) this will be updated.

I chose to do the different angles, so everyone can see as much as possible for EVERY mask that i had currently within my reach.

On the up angle shots, i chose NOT to use the ER X-ray, i didnt feel the need
to have to use shots for that mask in that position.

Hmmm so you bought one of these, huh? How did you like them?

Edit: Disregard my comment. I saw your other "review" thread.

Lets go pump at Liberty soon.

I said "the last post in this thread," and because this was a long dead thread.

Dude what are you talking about... I've never once complained about a SP mask, and I never will.

No, I wasnt saying you were *****ing about the mask. It's the guy who revived this thread after it was long dead, now there's something to raise hell about. ( and I see you already have) but I digress.
on a side note. To say you will never complain about a sp mask is plain retarded, you never know...

going from my v-force mask to my save phace mask was a little bit of an adjustment but I love mine. it actually allows you to breath better but it is tighter to my jaw line but I have a big head anyway.

Lines, coverage, exposure, hardness, price, everything. We could debate forever whether a mask is better than another. When it comes down to it, you wear what you're sponsored for. If you're paying for it yourself, you're probably not playing at a level where .005% better coverage will matter, or a flex grill vs. a hard grill getting bounces is even relevant. I think the mask looks good, it seems go give good protection, and it doesn't look like a 50 gal drum stuck on someone's head.
-Good rental/rec/casual match
-Probably playable in tourney ball because it has features other's don't
-Doesn't make a lick of difference if you get shot in the lens what you wear, too many people put too much emphasis on getting bounces and it makes paintball players look like thugs most of the time (oh rich white kids how you are not hood). Ask yourself for real, how many times have you been shot in the forehead or the grill?
Well if it's really that high, you're probably doing something wrong.
