After looking throught the "picture thread", I've noticed there's a lot of jowls hanging out. I'm not sure if it's due to the size of the mask or the size of the face behind it, but it seems to a constant in every picture taken from the front.

I would actually like to do the comparison... Just need the SP mask...

I own the following masks to test with:

Flex 7
ProFlex
Flex8
Dye Invisions
Vforce Profilers
Vforce Grills
Proteus
ER X-ray
Proto Switch

I think that would be a pretty decent comparison, that would have pics and vids if needed.

if you look at those pictures of the flex'es, they arent wearing them "correctly" the strap is hiked up pushing the soft ears over the ear, if the strap was lower it would cover their ear, anyone able to make sense of my post ,its a little confusing

MORE comparison Photos......

We were able to get our hands on a V-Force mask to show you all some more comparison photos.

Once again, this first generation of our masks were designed to fit 96% of the world's population. The fit of our mask will be different for everybody depending on the size of your head.

This first set of pictures are taken of a guy with an average size head:

We will post comparisons of a guy who has a larger head tomorrow. Ran out of time today! Stay tuned......

Yea they are pretty big. I noticed when i first had a profiler that they were pretty big compared to some other masks. But Vforce Grillz have trimmed down the size significantly.

Well when the profilers first hit the market they were considered small. Now they have been replaced because companies keep going smaller and tighter.

Now...(not talking about the above quote) let's not flame the complany for trying something new. My opinion is that this my is a bit lacking in protection; this is not to say that anyone wearing this will be injured for sure or even at all. Just My opinion. And perhaps we can all behave like grown-ups and look past immaterial factors such as the finish of the mask . Post opinions that can help this company, because if they can design the next big innovation for paintball, then I guess we all benefit don't we?

tada.

Whoever that is has a super small head, he fits cleanly into all the masks, but great shots nonetheless of all the goggles together.

My son. He wears about a 7 to 7 1/4 hat. Not all of us have fat heads like me

I dont like the SP with the head shield on it but that is how they ship them and I wanted it to reflect the mask as much as possible out of box.

Based on those pics a shot to the ear is going to hurt on all but the Save Phace mask.

Based on the other pictures show otherwise. I can clearly see earlobes, and half of ears in the other pictures.

Why is that?

The ears are totally covered by several of the masks. Don't forget that DYE Invisions were made of hard plastic like the SP masks are.

The venting will allow paint and bits of shell to hit the ear. Look closely at the pictures.

I have in my hands my son's Dye Invision, it is NOT make of hard plastic. Its a thick rubber in the front and a thinner flexible rubber on the sides.
