as far as I know you guys are stuck going to Idaho Falls. The only airball field in rexburg I knew of (Quality Control) isn't in business anymore. You've got either JBI in Idaho Falls or the pass in Pocatello.

Quality Control still is in business, but Aaron told me the speedball field is torn up. Not to mention, they left their air bunkers out all winter and they are pretty much decimated, re-building I guess.

So yeah, JBI is probably the closest speedball for us.

Gary at Crossfire (he works at El Gene's on Main St.)puts on some great woodsball games, he uses BLM land that has older / mature trees that do mimic a speedball set up, but it's in the woods.

Yea, he can do 4500 fills. He also has an older Chronic field as well as paint. He is sort of teamed up with the store in shelley. I can't remember the name of that guy or his business, but the couple times I've played with him he seems extremely stand-up. JBI's number is 208-709-3903.

Are you looking to fill your on gun tank or a scuba?

The store in shelly is World Empire Sports. It is ran buy a guy named Corey. He is way cool. He fills to 4500 for normal air tanks and he also does scuba's. JBI is also getting quite a bit better this year (new bunkers, etc.) It's gunna go a real good place to play.

I'd suggest calling them first. JBI is closed because adam (the owner) went to the OPC tournament in oregon and didn't have anyone to open it. I had about 6-10 people looking to play today that didn't have anywhere to go.

How nice is the Shelley field? Is there a website for it? Thinking about going to SRPPL event #3 there.

i had a friend give me directions while i was driving thier. it's hidden, pm me if you want better directios. the field is small and alot of the bunkers are really small. my girl and i walked it and we decided if your more than 4 ft. tall you would have problems.

if you mean JBI, it looks o.k. one airball field and a small building. it looks like it could be good for some airball. i couldn't find a website for it though.

It's not in shelley, it's in Idaho Falls. It's alright. They have an older chronic field. It's on good ground, but the bunkers are a bit too small for my taste.

As far as the event there, buyers beware. I'm going to play in it, but I'm hesitant to reccomend people to it. There's only one field, and to my knowledge there's only going to be one for that event. I'm not sure how they are going to do the reffing for the one in IF, but if it is the employees of JBI only be prepared for horrible reffing. If you can I would come and try to play there one weekend before committing. Just trying to give you some warning. I heard the burley event went really well, so hopefully they can pretty much just come here and take over without letting the people who own the place run the event. Just my opinion.

Flak. Are you looking to do open or beginner? I know someone who might be looking to put together a beginner team if that's what you're playing.

The reffing in Burley was pretty decent. Any missed calls were due to the refs being new. I don't think that any team got hometowned at that event. I think the reffing crew is supposed to be pretty steady. I havn't heard too much about the OPC event from any players but did catch some complaints about the reffing from some spectators (who may have been biased).

I believe that they are planning on having two fields in Shelley.

It sounds like you just don't want anyone to show up so you can win easier..
