sounds pretty fair so everyone gets a little home court advantage, or maybe each team could ref the field nearest them and get ref points

Yeah I play on jv for trinity. But StX is better.

An easy way to make sure each player is from the school he claims to be from is have them bring their report cards and a way to prove that they are that person (ie: drivers liscences). The player doesn't have to have a certain GPA to qualify but on the report card it has a name and a school. Or you could print off every school in KY's roster/attendance sheet, but thats no exactly "green" and would be alot of work

I was thinking report card would be the best way to do it too.

As for reffing... asking the schools who will be playing to ref could cause troubles with biased reffing. I think EKU would remain an unbiased reffing group, since we don't have any favorite highschools.

3 man format defiantly sounds the best and as far as the the field locations for the event each one sounds solid. I know phish would be down for an event at thirdeye

yeah lets keep the eku guys in charge of reffing... I wouldn't be happy if we had an event at a teams home field and they had their friends reffing... because the calls would be extremely one sided...

yeah i play for greenwood, were d2 though, we were a first year team this year but we should be pretty decent next year

AXPS in Owensboro will go to the area schools this fall and try to get some thing goin for everyone in the surrounding area. Daviess Co. had an awesome club at one time. PM if you live around the big O.

Update: Campbellsville is probably a no-go. Not enough high school interest there, sadly. Kids are kinda wishy-washy.

AXPS in Owensboro should be able to put together 3/3-man teams, 1 to 2 from Daviess county High, 1 Catholic, and possibly 1 from Apollo High. I will be attempting to resurect paintball clubs in the schools that used to have them and introduce the ones that don't. We want to host an event in this league and will provide cheap field fees and paint to high school teams for practice in the surrounding area who participate and help us grow this thing.
