I took my gun out yesterday to make sure it was working right. I emptied a hopper on substained full auto fire at 30bps, zero chops, one barrel break on a standard barrel no apex(velocity was jacked up).

i have never shot your gun, but flatline has a better chance for faster fire, i mean, when you chopped paint at the field your apex wasnt even on, 30 bps= kaboom

The apex wasn't the problem. My electronics were messed up and no matter what I did everything was set to blend. It was choping, not breaking in the barrel. Everything is fixed and now I am having no chops. Apex works great.

a flatline, in its basic design, has loser tolerences and that allows less barrel pressure to be built up, and that gives you the better possibility of more bps, becuase you have effectivly put an exuast gas vent in you barrel

I have a 98 custom with flatline & response (great distance & reliability) and an x7 with straightline & e-grip (wicked accuracy & damage). Love them both.

If it ain't broke, don't mess with it. You'll get an extra 50 feet with the flatline though.

98C with a 14" 32 Degrees whisper barrel... done me good for years. Might upgrade to a flatline this summer though.

I'm running a Smart Parts Teardrop barrel and have great luck with it so far. Good consistency, good distance, as long as the paint is good quality I have had little or no breaks. I play woodsball however, and would like just a bit more distance since I'm more of a back-line player. Apex?

23in stiffi?!?! That's WAY to big! You do know that just about anything over 16 inches doesn't increase accuracy or distance, but just wastes air.

I use a 16'' Stiffi on my X7 and it works beautifully. Its nice on paint, pretty accurate, very quiet, and just an all-around great barrel

Someone should redo the tests to see if any of the companys have stepped it up, or lost their touch. I also don't see many or well actually any titanium longbow aluminum kits for sale anywhere, let alone a 2000 scepter kit.

flatline
i decided to get a flatline barrel and it does wonders at long range, but at shorter ranges it sometimes went over the target even when my sights were on target.

I just recently got the M16 Apex barrel and it has been pretty fun to play around with. I haven't had a chance to use it on the field yet though.
