I've been using a 14" Lapco Bigshot for a while and it's by far the best barrel I've used. It's got range, accuracy, and consistency, can't ask for much more.

J&J all the way when it comes to woodsbal, the ceramic barrel is one of the best buys around. Its my sponsorship barrel, and the 16 inch ceramic is freakin sweet on my A5. Tons of porting so its quiet, and its accurate.

I use a 12" one piece Custom Product barrel with my 98 custom. It's been awesome. They don't make it anymore though. Seems to shoot more accurately than my friends 98 custom with his freak barrel. Maybe I just matched my paint up to my .685 barrel better. Custom products always seems to have awesome stuff though.

16" Hammerhead Straight-Line Barrell. You can't touch the accuracy.

I use a PMI Razor barrel 14in. I also mounted an apex on it. Shoots right on and has range like a flatline without being picky on paint.
don't try to go for the longest barrel you can find. 13in. gives you the most distance and accuracy. anything longer doesn't do anything special.

nam, would be wrong in a couple of ways, first of all 14in is the best for accuracy and quietness
two, what he failed to tail you is that his gun is more of a paint chopping machine, apex claims to not be picky, but you cant go full auto like you want to and get the best results
also, keep in mind that if you are new to paintball, nothing scares you more then the gun with a two foot long barrel on it
apex is more accurate, flatline gives you more speed both give you the same range

This guy is one of my teamates and he has never used my gun. My gun rarely chops paint and works alright on full auto, accuracy does go down but not too much. Apex is not more accurate than the flatline and the flatline doesn't allow you to shoot faster than the apex and unlike a flatline the apex can be turned off whenever you want. I took my gun out yesterday to make sure it was working right. I emptied a hopper on substained full auto fire at 30bps, zero chops, one barrel break on a standard barrel no apex(velocity was jacked up).
