Transporting your gear...

Query for ya'all. I've seen the gear bags and such that are commonly available. My bro puts all his stuff in a gym bag. But what about attache cases? Like thick, aluminum briefcase's. I'm thinking I could set one of these up to carry damn near everything (c'ept clothes). It'd be secure, lockable, and easy to organize;

  • Marker
  • Tank
  • Mask
  • Barrels
  • Spare parts
  • O-Rings
  • Tool kits
  • Anti-fog
  • Wipes
  • Batteries
  • Etc...

You put all that in a regular gear bag and you're spending forever digging up the 5/16th key, or the o-ring bag for your leaking remote.

@ about $40, they're pretty comparable to a normal bag.

Thoughts??

I've had the aluminum case set up but ended up going back to a gym bag. I found that the weight of all the gear, plus the aluminum case itself was too much. Plus the hard side cases don't let you jam more stuff in!! Just my take but I prefer gym bags.

a suitcase with a lock (samsonite are great) maybe, but you would need more of a sports-oriented one. Showing up with a travel bag with dress shoes a black turtle neck tshirt and dress pants with a neck protector with a stock ion in 3 shot is just gay.

I recently bought a travel bag made specifically for paintball. It's a steep price if you're buying new, but you get high quality materials and compartments specifically designed to keep certain things secure, not to mention a plethora of pockets and storage area.

It's expensive, but if you have the spare cash, I suggest you pick one up. Keep the trunk very organized on game day too.

I have owned a couple of gear bags (currently have the one from PE), but one that I found to have a compartment for damn near anything is the Empire bags.

Those are pretty small, probably a lot smaller than what they OP is looking for. Academy sells those, and they will just carry your marker, tank, hopper, and three barrels. Oh, and they have a small compartment for "spare parts".

I have an old suitcase that I've set up with foam inserts to hold my marker, hopper, tank and my tool kit. It even has travel stickers from Bermuda on it .
It just makes me laugh everytime I open it up.

I only bring my paint, gun, loader, tank, and pack with me. My pants are already on and my mask is on my head.

hell, i usually have my gun, hopper, tank and pods/harness in my regular dakine or my nxe back back and then have my jersey , pants and mask already on, or just leave my mask like on the top of my head so it's not fully on. i dont need to spend $100+ on a bag to hold stuff in it.
