New Team

My friends and I are looking at starting a team to play in this series because its on Sundays and only covers one day of play. All of us work full time jobs and playing an event that covers more than one day is hard. For anyone that has played in this league has your experiences been good? Are they well ran events? Good turn outs? Friendly/competetive?
As far as Open or Beginner:

We have all played for over a couple of years just not tournaments. But when we play its always xball. Everyone plays with adequate to great markers (fully upped ions to egos). Anyhow, we just want to be competetive and have a good time(also were are all mid 20's to early 30's). Any help or encouraging thoughts would be appreciated.

Glad to hear that you are interested. MSPA is a league that has been around longer than dirt ... and this year is going through re-growing pains. A reorgainized MSPA.. anyway, very competitive at the amateur level. The next tournament is at

man, me and my team look forward to playing MSPA cause it is just plain fun for us and pretty good competition. Once you get into MSPA and start mingling and getting to know people and teams, then it is fun to just be there and play some of the teams. It's fun but can get a little expensive with paint and travel.
Hope I helped, good luck.

luckily most of us can handle the cost(not sure how the wives are going to handle the travel?). All of us love the sport and just want an avenue to compete more in a formal format as opposed to going out and rec balling.

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully i'll get to meet some of you guys soon on the field.

Might get in trouble for that, but it's the truth. It's a good place to start out if you're close to the fields. Don't be expecting the CFOA though(Even though Div5 CFOA is cheaper I think?).

Wasn't really expecting the CFOA. If we could play on Sat I would be all over playing in the CFOA but as i said most of us work on Sat and would be impossible to play in that league unless there is a division that only played on Sundays.

Thanks for letting me know that. just did the research and Div 5 CFOA looks like it would work a lot better for us. 4 Events with in an hour of ATL and the rest not too foar off in SC and NC.
