Ultimate Madness

Did anyone here play in the ultimate madness in huntington wv when it was their it was the worlds largest 3 man indoor and was very succesful i dont know why it was ever stopped but it was any interest in trying to bring it back?

this is my theory. There are only so many pieces to the pie. If you have noticed there are no more large scale independent tournaments anymore. Mardi Gras Open is gone So is the IAO, Bunkerfest, Madness, and so on. With 2 major tournaments a month (NPPL, PSP) and God knows how many other local leagues have monthly tournaments and any serious team is going to practice at least 1 or 2 times a week on top of that. Something had to give. I wish that the independents came back. Please let me know what you think.

Never really thought of it that way but it was a huge success and so good for the sport around these parts

i played it two years, it was a fun setup.. 2004 was the best one i went to. Really crappy refs though both years that i went.

the tournament itself was a blast, i played 2 or 3 years, the price on teh other hand was a rip off. Everything was very expensive especially paint.

Yea but the had great prizes and it the reason its not around anymore is Milt Call got screwed over on the Aurba Madness and lost his *** and to rent out the Civic center took some serious bills
