i would just watch this board for local teams holding tryouts, and try to find a local field that has teams playing at it. just keep showing up, see if any teams need another player. if not, just keep looking. Most teams don't stay around for long here.

Most of the good teams travel and are located else where.

newport news isnt too far from VA beach. look for some teams in VA beach i know some good teams have come outta the beach.
