Is that a merlin made from raw body?who milled it?
No, its a featherlite merlin that was milled by JMJ. JMJ does not do paintball work anymore, and hasn't for years.

And, to reiterate, Do you like the eye wire/cocking noid wire slot idea I came up with? I'm not sure if it will actually help or not, but I thought it could be useful.
I like the idea for the cocking wire to run through and he made that channel 3/32" for the wire to run through. I like the fact that the sear tripping area is bigger now it will be easier with it bigger and that channel for my mq2 valve wire.

Yeah he could of gone deeper with the milling but I prefer to be safe than sorry and a ounce or less isn't going to kill my arms. This body is really light as it is when I hold it in my hands.

This gun looks more and more familar everytime I see it. I hate seeing FL's get cut up, but man, this thing's going to be sick. Getting anyone to mill the outside of the frontblock to match the gun a little more? I also think you should go all the way and put a badass frame on it. Unless you actually like the eblade... that'd just be weird though.

Yeah Sorry I wanted to mid block the back and make it look kind of like a lasoya intimidator cut for the angle but I didn't know how that would of turned out and there isn't much on this body I can change from stock sadly.

Haven't even considered milling the front block to match. Haven't really looked at how much meat is on that thing at all. As for the frame haven't looked into that either, nothing really has caught my eye to use and probably since I'm already dropping so much into this gun I should consider making a custom frame but again no idea which one I would want, but a 90 degree angel frame comes to mind and would be nice or just to be different a y frame.

I'm a big fan of AKA frames. If I ever get the time I'd throw one of them on a cocker.

The AKA Viking/Excalibur frames. I'm also a fan of the FBM AKA frames. Both a real nice. The triggers are great as well, much more so than E-blade ones.

Not sure; google search it. I know the AKA ones would be the easiest to fit to a cocker because they have two holes that are precisely spaced for a cocker.

Well hole spacing isn't usually the big thing its the size of the frame to fit what you want inside of it is my main concern.

Hmmmm........I know that Manwe33 has an E1 board as well as an FBM AKA frame. You could PM him and he could probably check to see if it matches up right.

Yeah, I couldn't stand my frontblock being all square and the rest of the gun being round, so I did my best to take all the meat off it and round it. There was actually more dremeling involved than milling since it needed a lot of free hand curves and such. It's as close to matching my body as it can get with out leaking. Here's some really horrible camera phone shots I took while I was doing it. It's still pretty rough in these pictures, but you can get a better look at the shape of it. It's funny how bad stuff looks before sanding and annodizing, and how good it looks afterwards.

As for the frame, the problem with a 90 is the way an eblade board is shaped. If you could get it in there... the screen would look all leaned forward because the top of the board where the cap is, angles back and won't let the board sit 90* from the body. It might work out fine it's just one problem I see.

***New Update***
I'm sending my merlin out for it's final milling this month but I'm really having trouble figuring out what Frame to use. If I get a FBM Fierce frame its just more like the Merlin of Doom. I would like a 90degree angel frame but I'm afraid the yakuza board wouldn't fit even milled but I don't have one to confirm. Now my other option would be a Z Frame and I like the idea of that but again have no way to know if that will fit as I have yet to see one in person without just buying one blindly don't really know of any other frames off hand that look good. What do you guys think? I do have a new E2 Frame just don't think that will cut it.

The frame has been figured out already it will be completely custom. Just trying to hear back from KPCS and see if he can get it done any faster.
