The locations of certain scenes-taking place out in nature-is a further element of the work and carries some significance.

I'd call that setting. Nature would be if nature itself, be it a storm or an animal, directly affected the plot as a main character or role.

****, I guess this means I have to be an English teacher.

As in anything that's not setting. Sure, i could be in the woods, but it's not man v nature if I'm just there and it's just a setting. All nature that isn't just part of the setting but is part of the plot I'd consider man v nature.

Try to fit the guy getting shot in the head somewhere in there (how it was done out in the woods which often acted as a place for them to hide and discuss their inner thoughts with each other because they were separated from the rest of society.).

I haven't read it in a while so i'm a bit sketchy on it.

They went down to the river. It was significant because of the location.

Because it's what George told Lenny to do whenever there's trouble. he went to the river, and
Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
George shot Lenny while he wasn't looking so that Lenny would be happy when he died.

Yes because at first the river represented their escape but by then it represents Lennie's lose of innocence and George's loneliness.

Anyone know of any good photographers that his/her style consisted of using shadows? Or something that would be relatively easy for me to shoot that style at my school (since my camera is now broken, i have to use a school camera and i cant check it out ).

yay, literary discussions.

nature does have something to do with the book. I'd say that the rabbits represent innocence and hope. Rabbits are pretty nature if I do say so myself.

Anyone else read Frankenstine?

Yeah, I really don't understand where my teacher was trying to go with this. I can easily write 2 paragraphs about nature/setting but she wants us to go through and pick out 10-15 instances where the two play a role and that is stupid/hard because it's more of an overall concept.

I hated it so much, and I have decided to make it my life's work to have it removed from all lists of classic literature. Its a good idea. But that's where that book looses it. Its written terribly, with horrible mechanics, and useage of vocabulary. I sware that if I would have read "benevolent" or "abhore" one more time in that ****ign thing i would ahve killed myself. Then there's the whole fact taht the whole story is A guy writing word for word what a half dead man ****ed up on Logunum is spouting off remembering word for word his conversations with a monster that he created but was too much of an asshat to just make a wife and let him live in ****ing south america.

Book was terrible. If she wern't already dead I would suggest that Mary Shelly should die.

The yellow is the only video if youre just running red/yellow/white composites. If you have the HD components, than no, lol at you.

Heroes for a Day is ****ing awesome. Really makes me want to get back into paintball.

I'm gonna clean all my **** (my pods, gloves, and pack are kind of dirty because i guess i didn't clean them after last time i played). And lube up my gun and test if it's working. I think I might have my parents drive me out to a field someday this summer. I think it would be worth it.
