I'm not a huge fan. A while ago I went on a ski trip with a bunch of kids, and for some reason that song KEPT getting played at the house. At one point it probably looped like 5 or 6 times before anyone really noticed, and at the begining of the song when the phone rings this chick went searching for a ringing phone EVERYTIME.

I've been listening to them since 2004. If you want a real taste of their music, download 'Belt'.
If you like the 'pop' style of Say Anything, download "Baby Girl I'm A Blur". Both songs are awesome. Actually, better yet, just go buy "... Is A Real Boy" and "...Was A Real Boy" (2 pack) as well as "In Defense of the Genre" (2 pack). Amazing CD's. |

I just discovered them recently, but yeah they have been around for a while. but they really are a great band I think. Really catchy, although Max's voice takes a bit of getting used to.

Say anything doesn't really have much value past being catchy and trendy in my opinion, but they played with manchester orchestra so i was pretty willing to go to that show.

QFT, a friend of mine likes them a lot and plays them constantly. I like some songs, but I'm not a huge fan.

They are far from up and coming. While I wouldn't listen to them on a regular basis, whenever I do hear their songs I usually end up laughing. So I'm not going to hate either.
