Fusion w/ Ego Frame and UTB

Just something I made over the weekend. Title pretty much says it all, it's a Fusion 7 LE with an 05 Ego Frame and Universal T-board. Everything works except I need a different capacitor which will be added in a week or two to trip the solenoid. A lot of dremeling had to be done to make it work, and I haven't had time to clean it all up so excuse how it looks. Also I know the wiring is still too long but..... oh well. Any comments and questions are welcome.

good work, hope you get it finished.

It looks great until you look at the snatch grip, but still not that bad. I'm just not used to that look on a Fusion.

Dang thats pretty cool!
Hows the universal t-board working? Did you get to test it out yet?
i like the way it matches the color of your gun.

so far looks good! make a vid as soon as you finish or something!

Dang that was quick, yeah the snatch grip needs to be cut but there is a small grove that would leave everything open to the elements. I'm thinking about TIG welding it shut then smoothing it out to contour to the body. Also the T-board works great so far, still need to see if it'll trip the solenoid with the right capacitor, otherwise all the 8-9 lights show up and the microswitch works.

Nice work. I like how you spent the time doing all the heat shrink, it really
makes it look much cleaner. I'd be interested in seeing the dremel work done to
the top of the frame to make the noid fit.

Now if only you could get it working with a stock Ego frame/board (w/LCD screen)

Maybe this summer when I have more time/money I'll buy another Fusion/PM5 UL frame/Univeral T-board and play around with that

I'll get some pics up in a week or two with the dremeling and the marker completely done. And I was thinking about UL framing one as well, would be much easier since the holes to mount the frame are pretty much inline with the fusion body.

Update: Finally got the capacitor in and the solenoid is tripping. I also played around with the settings a little and all seems to be good. I don't have any vid or other pics to add yet, would this weekend if I wasn't reffing Blackhawk Down. Anyways the board has some awesome firing modes including full auto so I might have to do a cycling test for all you who want to know what our guns can do. Can't be too accurate though, my plan was to get a set amount of psi in my tank 2000 maybe? and timing how long it took to drain it, divide the rough efficiency 1500-1600 shots by the time and walah BPS. If this sounds plausible let me know or suggest a different way.

Good job with the board, as well as fitting the frame.

And for those who wanted a video I'm sorry I had it shooting but no longer have a fusion. Still have the frame and UTB, frame is finally cut to length for the body. Will sell for real cheap if anyone wants to pick up on this project.

the board was about 50 the frame was 75 and the time spent is unfathomable. I am not sure, still could stand to be cleaned up a bit, you'll need a new membrane pad, and probably a new RGB led. Also you'll need to set the dwell a little higher if using it for a fusion. Maybe 45 plus ship. for everything. I'll even shorten the wires if you want.

Actually I have the leds, just that the schematic for them is gone so I'm not sure how to wire it up, scenario dreams can help you out though.
