Nope I download because most of the bands I listen to are dead. And I pay for my download service...heh heh.

Yes I do most of the time. I normally buy them from amazon. There's nothing like actually having a tangible copy of the music...even if I'm about the put it on my ipod.

I buy c.d.'s. Unless it is a song or something that I can't find locally.

I would if they were less expensive, instead I use a subscription download service.

I wish they were less expensive, but then neither the record company nor the band would probably make much. I just like them because it supports the band and it's the highest quality available.

If I can buy them from the artist directly and if I've listened to it thoroughly and know it's worth purchasing.

subscription music FTW!! its just too expensive really, or else i would buy the cd's. $13 for a cd with at most 20 songs. or i pay $15 a month for unlimited music. bands get some money from the music services.

I really wish that iTunes would do that, then I would definitely get a subscription. I assume you're talking about the zune pass?

Yea, I've heard good things about Rhapsody. But I don't think that I can every leave iTunes. I love the way it's set up and I've used it forever. I don't use the store but I certainly would if it were only $15 a month for unlimited.

I buy some cd's, but I get most of my music from torrents. If I want an individual song I'll use frostwire so I don't have to dl or buy the entire album

o man i agree. i love the itunes setup. nice, organized, clean looking. LOTS of music. but i hate buying a song for a buck a song, i like ipods, but im not the biggest fan. i have yet to convert! even if i had the money to get cd's, i thought about getting an ipod. but the truth is, i dont have that kind of money. rhapsody is great. i like it, not as good as itunes, but i still love it. gets me my music

The only album I bought in maybe 5 years was the BBC Hendrix 2 disc set. Only $14, so it was cool. Almost 40 songs.
