New to Mechs.
Ok so my electro is pissin me off. So im buying a tippy! woot! So I am probobly getting an A-5 w/response trigger. getting a remote and such.
But im really stuck on a barrel. My smartparts epiphany can outshoot a 98 easy. and it has a freak jr. Either getting a freak or dye ultralight for it.
But my buddy (the field owner) has a Hammerhead and says its one of the best barrels he ever shot. Wondering If the hammerhead is really all he says it is.
This is probobly in the wrong forum but please help me out guys.

get the PPS brass barrel. its the best IMO.

Get whatever barrel you can that fits the tippy, and allows for a good paint to barrel match. Nothing else matters after that, other than cost.

my friend has a hammerhead for his 98c and it shoots better than a freak kit and i have shot a dye Ul and its not as good as the hammer head imo

And accuracy comes mainly from a good paint to barrel match.

because of this find a kit that is in your price range that has the most bore sizes

it is, there is a paint and barrel forum. i run the freak kit on all my guns and love it. if you already have it for your other gun just pick up a A5 back and kick ***.

IMO, the HH is a very nice barrel, but not worth the arm and leg you gotta pay to get it. Like Hummer said, if you've already got a Freak, buy an A-5 back and go to town.

welling im selling my Epiphany and that is with that barrel. So im getting an A-5 with the money i get from my epiphany. along with some other stuff. Basically im totally changing from speedball to woodsball. so im selling ALL my electro stuff to buy ALL mech stuff.
