Anyone here go to RU? Im trying to find out if there are any paintballers going to school there. Im transferring in the fall and need to know where I can play some paintball near the university and if anyone is interested in starting up a paintball program there.

I know Virginia Tech has a team and there is also a local store in Christiansburg near some fireman supply/safety store.

Also, there is a local field called Wolf's Ridge. If you're looking for speedball.... that isn't the place for you. I would talk to the Tech guys. I would check http://www.paintball.org.vt.edu/ for more info and contact info.

radford is about an hour away but here in South Boston, VA there is a new field ,Extreme Sports Paintball Park, guys playing there are way good and the travel to tourneys, might be worth a drive

im in roanoke and looking for a field since ours up and closed up.

been outa the loop for bout a year due to an achilles tendon injury. but im back up and running now and itching to get back on the field.

as for paintball around radford, think its been mentioned, but the tech guys are probly gonna be the easiest and faster way to figuer out whats going on locally up that way.

Well, we do practice out in Beckley, W. It's a little over an hour drive for us. I've never heard of a paintball team out of radford, but from what I hear theres not much going on around here paintball-wise other thna Wolf's Ridge out in Christiansburg.

I'm a student at RU and there really isn't a paintball scene here speedball wise. They just started a paintball club but they are mainly woodsballers...not my thing and I really wanted to try and start a speedball club...

There arent many fields in the area, i work in christiansburg about 10 minutes from RU. There are some nice fields within a few hours of radford though

Hey fellas whats up i go to and play for a new field called Paintball Virginia in Danville, VA about 1 hour an 30 mins from radford. We have brand new Xball fields and are in the stages of rebuilding everything as we speak. Pm me with any questions. We are open on Saturday and Sundays.

jcarr and I have been chatting, were gonna work our hardest to get a program up and running. Add this thread to your favorites or something so if/when you get out to RU we can be in contact. I will be moved into my apartment in august and will shortly after begin to get the process started. Im sure there will be some paperwork to fill out lol.

i tried to start one when i went to RU, didnt work out. theres only about 3 ballers there. but i chose drinking over pb and school so i failed
